Big ideas, real impact.

Pine Acres Community Center is expanding our ability to bring neighbors together. We've identified five critical projects that will enhance our facilities, deepen our community programs, improve access to food and resources, and create inclusive spaces where local families can gather affordably. From a community garden that feeds our neighbors to an accessible playground for our children, each project strengthens the foundation of our community. Learn about our priorities and discover how you can make a difference.

#1

Chair Replacement Project - to replace our facility chairs and ensure we have enough chairs to accommodate large events within our occupancy limit.

Betty Rush Resource Center Computer Upgrade Project - to replace our current computers with desktops and laptops, providing up-to-date equipment for our youth, senior computer classes, and adults seeking employment and pursuing higher education. We want to be a resource for the community that is within walking distance and accessible for everyone.

#2

Martha V. Moore Community Garden Project - to complete our community garden project and provide educational programming for all ages. We will also have a meditation and reflection bench in the center of the landscape.

#3

All Accessible Playground Project - to replace our out-of-date playground area with an all accessible playground where all youth can access and safely enjoy the playground during operational hours and during the daytime.

#4

Parking Lot Improvement Project - to redesign our current parking lot to approximately 40 parking spaces. Also, to make it more wheelchair accessible and senior-friendly.
